About Central Area

A spiritual journey in the Central area, at the crossroads of rich nature and history.

The center area is a tourist destination where visitors can enjoy a wealth of nature and culture. Koriyama City is home to “Kaiseizan Park,” one of Japan's three most famous gardens, where beautiful cherry blossoms bloom in spring.

In addition, “Bandai Atami Onsen” is loved by many tourists as a relaxing hot spring resort. For history buffs, the Shirakawa Komine Castle Ruins is recommended, where visitors can experience Japanese history while walking through the ruins of an Edo Period castle.

Furthermore, Lake Inawashiro, with its lakes and mountains, allows visitors to enjoy outdoor activities throughout the four seasons, making this an area where both nature and culture can be fully enjoyed.
