About Seimo Area

A rich journey in the Seimo area, a treasure trove of history and nature

The Seimo area in Gunma Prefecture is an attractive tourist destination where history and nature are in harmony. The “Takasaki Shiraigoromo Taikannon” is especially famous for its gigantic statue of the Kannon, which is overwhelmingly majestic.

The Ikaho Onsen, a hot spring resort with a long history, offers unique hot spring water called “golden hot water,” and the stone steps in the hot spring resort area are also very tasteful. In addition, visitors can enjoy hiking and lake activities at Mt. Haruna, where the scenery changes with the seasons.

The Seimo area, where visitors can experience history, culture, and nature all at once, is a fulfilling travel destination for foreign tourists.
