Shinjuku Area

About Shinjuku Area

The largest city in Tokyo

The Shinjuku area includes Kabukicho, Japan's largest entertainment district, and Nishi-Shinjuku, a business district with a forest of skyscrapers.

Shinjuku Station is a huge terminal station with the highest number of passengers in the world, and waves of people never cease to flow in and out of the station day and night.

Redevelopment centered on mixed-use skyscrapers, high-rise condominiums, and office buildings is underway, and after the 2020s, the “Shinjuku Grand Terminal” concept is called.
