About Takeda Shrine

Takeda Shrine is located in Kofu City, Yamanashi Prefecture, and is known as a shrine dedicated to Shingen Takeda, a famous general of the Warring States period. Shingen Takeda was one of the most famous military commanders of the Warring States period, and is deeply rooted in the history and culture of Yamanashi Prefecture, as well as an object of worship in Kofu, the home of the Takeda clan.
