About Otsuki Area

Otsuki, a town where nature and history meet

The Otsuki area is blessed with beautiful views of Mt. Fuji and abundant nature, and is popular as a base for hiking and sightseeing. Fuji from “Iwadono Mountain” and the beautiful “Sarubashi Bridge,” one of the three strangest bridges in Japan, are especially not-to-be-missed spots.

Otsuki has a long history of prosperity as a post town on the Koshu-kaido highway, and retains its old townscape and culture. It is also easily accessible from central Tokyo, making it a place where visitors can easily experience the charms of nature and history.

Otsuki's rich nature, history, and spectacular view of Mt. Fuji will create unforgettable memories for foreign visitors.
