About Kuonji(Temple)

Kuonji Temple is the head temple of Nichiren Shoshu, located in Minobu-cho, Minamikoma-gun, Yamanashi Prefecture, and is known as the place where Nichiren, the founder of Nichiren Shoshu, spent his last years. The temple is located in the mountains of Mount Minobu, and its solemn atmosphere and natural beauty attracts visitors.
